Spentio ("the App") is developed by Tupungato Studios. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. All your expenses, income, categories, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Spentio does not operate servers that collect your data, use analytics tools, or include any tracking. We never have access to your financial data.

Information We Do Not Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No expense amounts, categories, or merchants
• No location data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No cookies or similar technologies
• No advertising identifiers
• No data shared with third parties for marketing

Local Storage & iCloud Sync

The App stores your expenses, income, categories, recurring expenses, savings goals, and preferences locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If your device has iCloud enabled for Spentio, this data automatically syncs across your devices via Apple's CloudKit service under your own Apple account. The sync is managed by Apple and Tupungato Studios has no access to the synced data. You can disable iCloud sync for Spentio at any time from iOS Settings (Settings > your name > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud).

In-App Purchases

Spentio offers an optional Pro subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Spentio uses a backend service to validate your subscription state and enable Restore Purchases across your devices. No personal information, payment details, or identifying data is shared. Only anonymous subscription state from Apple is used, which cannot be linked to any individual.

Notifications

The App may send local notifications for budget alerts, weekly and monthly summaries, and daily reminders. All notifications are generated entirely on your device — no external service is involved and no data leaves the device. Notification permissions can be managed at any time in your device settings or within the App.

Apple App Analytics

We do not use any first-party analytics or crash reporting services. If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your iOS settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple provides anonymous, aggregated statistics about app performance and stability (for example: launch time, crash reports, battery usage) in its own dashboards. This data is aggregated by Apple across all users and cannot be linked back to you. You can disable this setting at any time.

Your Rights & Control

Because all data remains on your device, you have full control:

• Delete a single expense, a category, or all your data directly in the App
• Export everything as CSV or PDF (Settings > Export)
• Disable iCloud sync for Spentio from iOS Settings at any time
• Uninstall the App to remove all local data from the device

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from any user, including children. It is safe for users of all ages (rated 4+).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
